Steps to take to better your life
Life... is what you make it! You are in control of how great or awful your life is. Throughout a lifetime we as females go through many trials and tribulations causing us to lose hope and to lose sight of our goals!
When you’re put in a situation where you don’t know what to do you may feel overwhelmed or experience anxiety, always remember to live a life without fear. Here are three steps to take that will help you get your life back on track.
1) LEAVE THE PAST IN THE PAST
I can’t stress how important it is to move on from past situations. We spend too much time dwelling on the past and when you dwell on the past you wont ever be fully happy with your life. Living in the past is very depressing and you have to understand that the past cannot be undone. Sh*t happens oh well get over it, embrace the present. Things happen for a reason, never blame anyone else for your past situations, instead show leadership as you authentically and honestly walk through a difficult path.
2) LIVE TRANSPARENTLY
One of the worst mistakes we make when we are experiencing a low point in life is shutting people out. Please don’t isolate yourself when things get rough. There is power in relationships. There are plenty of ways to create healthy relationships. You can meet people through social media, or simply going out for lunch. It’s important to have relationships with people who have the same goals as you, have the same interests, etc. Consider joining groups on Facebook, and finding local events on eventbrite.com to attend. The more positive people in your life the more happier you will be. It’s easy to say you would rather be alone, I am guilty of this, but trust me lonely isn't a good feeling! GET OUT AND LIVE!
3) TAKE A LEAP OF FAITH
Taking a leap of faith means to live full and abundantly. How can you do so if you worry and have fear? Sometimes women worry too much about the what if’s. Taking a leap of faith means you are putting all your worries aside and trusting that god will lead you in the right path. This means you believe in your abilities and you care more about all the good things that’ll happen instead of dwelling on everything bad that can happen.
For example, say you are offered a new job that will give you the opportunity to make your dreams come true, but accepting this job offer means moving hundreds of miles away from home. Take a leap of faith and accept the offer! Don’t let the fear of not having the finances, or whatever your situation might be, determine your decision. The only thing that can hold you back from success is yourself. Remember you don't have to be great to get started but you have to get started to be great!
